They may learn a thing or two about compassion and lending a hand. It’s shocking that Gary Indiana citizens are suffering like this. It’s heartbreaking.
But corporate industry has also affected the livelihoods of many First Nations in Canada who are no longer able to practice their indigenous way of life. The racism is on display here too.
I have been following this story. It is a symbol of everything that’s wrong with this country. The corporate socialism around professional sports teams that you describe is very real thing. it’s happening all over the place, including in Columbus, Ohio, This time with respect to a women’s soccer team. But the game is the same.
A story like this is so disheartening. And testimonial to how deep a change in humanity is vital now. We have to become a caring species. That's the salvation that's not just for people in situations like Gary residents are in, but for also for the rich people, who are going to get as wiped out in the unsustainable world that runs like it does now.
