It’s well past time to ask hard questions about what I’ll refer to as the Genocidal White European Nation (GWEN), which is only “great” in the eyes of a twisted, but significant, minority of humans.
After a decade of Trumpness, white racism has become nearly mainstream in parts of the United States. Cable networks like Fox News and One America devote airtime to its defense. Politicians in some parts of the country are willing to wear their racism on their sleeves, missing only a swastika armband.
The U.S. government has mocked Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), ripping away all DEI references from government websites, or attacking its precepts where mention of it remains.
Affirmative Action is dead.1
And now, recent elections in Germany have given new life to a neo-Nazi party that a few decades ago would have been nothing more than a few drunken whines belched from a motley crew of angry unemployed Saxons hiding in a mother’s basement in Schönebeck.
The neo-Nazi party, known as the Alternative for Germany (AfG) party, owes much of its electoral success2 in the East German state of Saxony-Anhalt to Elon Musk’s relentless interference in German political affairs, especially through Apartheid Twitter (sometimes referred to as “X”).3
Musk has promised to spend around $120 million4 in the service of his racist brand of politics to try to prevent a blue tsunami during the upcoming U.S. Midterms. He’s been using Apartheid Twitter to spew out dozens of hateful messages per day, which then get reposted by his chortling, red-nosed horde, since he bought the thing in 2022.
Those of us who are part of GWEN, those of us who share a common ancestral lineage with GWEN leaders, but not its racist tide, must begin asking hard questions of ourselves that tackle the very essence of our cultural and political roots.
The hard questions can funnel into a broader question: If immigrants of color overtook Europe and diluted its whiteness to the point of insignificance, would that be a bad thing?
Dilution seems to be a big concern among GWEN denizens, but, really, who cares if it’s happening? Why does it matter? Is it not fair to ask those who express fear over skin color precisely why they’re afraid?
As a white denizen of GWEN, I will argue in this essay that the answer to whether “dilution” is a problem is a definitive no.
Europe will be fine whether it is 90% white or 10% white. The problem is that when Europe is 90% white, the rest of the world is not fine. History demonstrates that when white power is ascendant in any country, that nation, and sometimes the entire world, suffers catastrophic war and/or genocide.
The American Civil War was the result of white pride. The European part of World War Two, along with the death and mutilation of six million Jews, was the result of white pride.
South African apartheid was the result of white pride. So was British colonialism. There’s so much more. From the Middle Passage to Vlad Putin sending thousands of kids from the Caucasus to their deaths on the front lines of Ukraine, history and current events are full of GWEN madness.
Let’s stop briefly to define a few terms for this discussion.
Definition Number One: Genocidal White European Nation
GWEN in this context refers to two things.
First: Geography
GWEN’s axis of power has traditionally spread from northern Europe. One primary origin is Germany and other Germanic areas, including Scandinavia. Another hotspot stretches across Eastern Europe deep into Russia north of the Caucasus.
Yet another major origin area includes France and French-speaking European countries, as well as Portugal, Spain, and Great Britain, particularly the English and Scottish parts.
The GWEN diaspora has spread across the world, but is mostly found in the Americas and southern Africa.
I hesitate to include Scandinavia, because those countries have become important centers of progressive governance, but the Vikings get at least a mention for their ancient habits of conquest (which was not based on race, best I can tell), so I just went ahead and included that whole region, because the infection has begun to spread there anyway.
In a twisted turn of fate, GWEN now includes the State of Israel, thanks to its genocidal right wing. Under Netanyahu, “Gaza is now a different color from space,” says Corey Scher of the CUNY Graduate Center in a recent PBS report,5 which notes that the destruction there …
“…includes tens of thousands of homes as well as schools, hospitals, mosques and stores. U.N. monitors have said that about 70 percent of school buildings across Gaza have been damaged. At least 56 damaged schools served as shelters for displaced civilians. Israeli strikes damaged 110 mosques and three churches, the monitors said.
It’s a classic case of the hunted becoming the hunters.
Second: The population itself
This consists of the white northern (mostly) Europeans who are transfixed with themselves to the point that they’ll slaughter anyone who doesn’t agree with their “greatness.”
It’s not a geographic thing. They’re in Northern Europe. They’re also in South Africa. They’re in North America. They’re in Argentina. They’re wherever Elon Musk is on a given day.
GWEN includes a diaspora that generally originates in Northern Europe, but guest privileges are often granted to Italian, Irish, and Mexican Americans like Nick Fuentes,6 a vocal spokesperson who claims all three ancestries.
Being a citizen of GWEN doesn’t mean you’re a racist. I’m a citizen of GWEN. I don’t consider myself a racist. But I benefit from racism, whether I like it or not, and I come from a privileged class that has hounded People of Color for more than 500 years. There is almost zero chance that any of us who are part of the GWEN tribe have not participated at least one time in our lives in an act of prejudice, even if we were five years old when we did it:
The Racism That Still Lives Deep in My Bones
I’m blessed to be living in the world capital, Atlanta, of an exciting phenomenon that has worldwide historical and sociological implications: a Black Renaissance.
Definition Number Two: Destruction
My ancestry is mostly British and Nordic. So it should be obvious that when I talk about our destruction, I’m not referring to violence.
I’m not talking about the rest of the world taking vengeance and committing white genocide. I’m talking about dilution: reducing white majorities to the point where they no longer have political dominance. This is accomplished through immigration, intermarriage, and lots of sex. Not violence.
This leads us quite naturally to one final definition.
Definition Number Three: Dilution
This sounds like a bad thing. It is not. If any world “nation” needs dilution, it is the so-called Great White European Nation.
Dilution refers to the drop in the percentage of whites in the total population, both worldwide and in the United States and Europe.
This “dilution” has been going on for a long time, much to the obvious chagrin of white extremists.
Welcome to London, 2026, where whites are on the verge of becoming a minority
A prime example of dilution’s success: People of color have been increasing their numbers in London for decades.
As of 2021, nearly 50 percent of the 8,173,941 inhabitants of London were nonwhite. 53.8% were white. Even more to the point: in that same 2021 British census, only 23.9% of London school students had British white backgrounds.7
22.2% of Londoners had Asian or mixed-Asian descent, 20.8% were of Asian descent,8 13.5% were Black, and 1.4% were mixed-Asian. 7.5% of Londoners were of Indian descent, 3.7% were Bangladeshis and 3.3% were Pakistani.9
It’s been a perfectly peaceful transition (except when white rage interferes).
Even in the United States, there’s a growing sub-Saharan African diaspora. The number of folks migrating from that part of the world to the United States has tripled during the last 25 years, and accounts for 4.8 million or so souls.10 What must really vex GWEN racists is that 50% of these new Americans have a bachelor’s degree or better, which is a higher percentage than in GWEN.
All this existing “dilution” is a major reason why there is so much hate fostered by irate GWENsters. But it’s also a reason for optimism. As immigrants have, quite peacefully, entered GWEN country, they’ve slowly begun to make their way into centers of power.
In the United States, most demographic models forecast that whites will be a minority before much longer, even though U.S. Senate chambers are full of old white men. No mass deportation effort is capable of changing this.
Stephen Miller’s terror reign fantasy has proven to be nothing more than the orgasmic dreamscape of his feeble, racist mind (at a terrible cost to those affected).
Meet Stephen Miller — the Last Man Standing
If you work with Donald Trump, you’ll likely get fired. He even starred in a reality TV show about it. If you don’t get fired, you’ll probably quit because the man who brags about sexually assaulting women is insufferable.
As soon as Miller’s ICE and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) stormtroopers appear in any serious numbers in any neighborhood in the United States, the whistles come out, and protesters take their countermeasures.
Many of these whistles are on the mouths of those of us within GWEN who have said, “Enough.”
The stormtroopers have since gone low-key, sending out smaller teams and hitting airports and courts, where there is less resistance.11 But this effort will also be defeated.
The Great Replacement Fear
This brings us to the inevitable response to dilution by the Genocidal White European Nation: fear.
This fear is expressed by the Great Replacement Theory, which appears to have originated when French author Renaud Camus wrote his 2011 book Le Grand Remplacement, in which he claimed that Muslim immigrants were replacing the native population in France.
The fear has expanded in the U.S. to include anyone with skin shades darker than a Pantone® buttercream.
Luckily for me, a deeply committed GWEN citizen (who in a normal society would be committed) tweeted a perfect example of the Great Replacement fear, almost as if he knew I’d be writing this essay:12
Egads! Dark people celebrating a football win! Save the country!
That an alleged human being wrote that tweet in the second quarter of the 21st century is a stunning indictment demonstrating that GWEN refuses to grow out of its sordid past. Since it won’t mature into civilized behavior on its own, our only response to their childish complaints over dilution needs to be harsh condemnation, with a strong emphasis on treating racism for what it is: a mental illness.
This is currently not in the cards in the United States. Because of tolerance among people in my demographic, GWEN is regressing like their furry feet are on fire, constantly on the attack, looking to stir up racist trouble wherever they can.
The Twitter maniac’s comment and picture remind me of a moment I had nearly ten years ago in Texas. I was walking around in Round Rock, Texas, during a street festival, when I noticed the same thing he noticed when he freaked out about the kinds of people attending a Texas football game: A rainbow of colors celebrating and happy.
And I realized that whatever GWEN white culture bros are afraid of has already happened. There I was in a very nondescript Texas city of a hundred thousand people or so, where my whiteness was probably a minority. The difference is that I thought it was cool. You could smell diversity in the food from different nationalities sizzling at the open grills of the festival. You could see it in the clothes, hear it in the accented voices. It was a beautiful thing. It’s what the United States is supposed to be all about.
The regime can deport millions. It won’t substantially change the numbers. The rainbow is here to stay.
The Great Replacement Theory is only Europe’s most recent white “supremacy” scream into the night
World War Two was started by a maniacal leader of GWEN who took Germany into a homicidal rage that led to millions of gruesome slaughters within its borders. Millions of Jews died horrifically. The long term goal of the Reich was to create a pure “Aryan” nation, whatever that means.
After the war, embarrassed GWEN leaders, seeking a haven for Jews instead of owning their complicity in the Holocaust and dedicating themselves to protecting European Jews in Europe, carved a new nation out of Palestine. They preferred a European exodus of Jews over establishing formal protections for them within their borders.
Their “solution” to the Holocaust displaced between 700,000 and one million darker colored, mostly Muslim folks from their homes in Palestine.13
What eventually emerged from that was a new nation led by xenophobic Zionists who next transformed a democracy into a right-wing Apartheid state that treats Palestinians as third-class prisoners with almost no ability to travel freely within their home nation.
Trigger warning: This is a good time to emphasize that being against Likud’s ultra-Zionism is not an anti-Semitic or anti-Israel stance. Netanyahu and Likud have transformed Israel into something most of its founders, fresh off Hitler’s genocide, would presumably be appalled by.
Meanwhile, the screams in the European night continued in nations like France.
Led by Marine Le Pen and her racist dog-whistler daddy, Jean-Marie Le Pen, France became a cesspool of white nationalism before Le Grand Remplacement became a template for racist tweets.
Daddy Le Pen founded France’s extreme far-right (for its day) Front National (FN) party in 1972, and his family hasn’t looked back since.
Le Pen claimed to be irked by what he viewed as the equivalent of a drug cartel, OPEC, a consortium of oil-producing nations that nearly set the world on fire in 1973 with some classic price gouging in response to years of colonialism and unhappiness with the existence of the state of Israel.
It was the first of his many race-based dog whistles. He had been trying to foment trouble since the 1960s, when he ran far-right candidate Jean-Louis Tixier-Vignancour’s presidential campaign, which fell on its face with about five percent of the vote.
But the extreme far right is nothing if not tenacious. Le Pen held tightly to a strong anti-immigration stance he first promoted in those early years, a stance that is becoming mainstream in many quarters of European politics after six decades of persistence.
This brings us to an important rule we must never forget about GWEN’s most mentally ill purveyors of racism: They never give up. One reason they never give up is that GWEN’s more moderate citizens give them cover, constantly producing excuses why racists should be allowed to spew their hatred and foment their violence.
Even within spheres of GWEN that possess little tolerance for them, right-wing racists are like pit bulls who clamp their jaws on an ankle and won’t let go until you kill them. If it takes 60 years to make inroads into the political mainstream, so be it.
Their irrational fears of darker pigments are bolstered by the fact that they are, indeed, slowly getting replaced in many countries where lighter skin has traditionally prevailed. To me, that’s a wonderful thing. It’s something to be celebrated, not maligned.
We need to look at history to understand how their irrational fear of skin tones darker than notepaper plays out when left unchecked.
The war against People of Color
You can’t look at the last five hundred years or so without viewing it through the lens of GWEN repression based on a peculiar fear of darker skin, which is something that is almost too strange to write. Yet, almost every sustained major act of violence by various GWEN states has involved racism.
Rather than cover all the obvious ones, I’m going to refer to some facts that you may not be familiar with before I bullet point other events that are more well known.
The Congo Free State
I single this out for its special depravity and the fact that it’s not widely known.
The Congo Free State was formed by Belgium’s King Leopold II when he began to lust after the resources of Africa’s Congo Basin but was unable to arouse much interest from others in the Belgian ruling class.14
He formed a private army and unilaterally declared that the bulk of the Congo Basin belonged to the Belgian crown.
He declared the Congo Basin “The Congo Free State,” ostensibly to bring “civilization” to the local population.
Then, he exterminated as much as fifty percent of the population in his effort to extract rubber from the region.
One highlight of the extermination process featured a unique brand of horror. The Force Publique, Leopold’s private army of enforcers, regularly cut off the hands of locals to enforce rubber and ivory production quotas.
Rubber, of course, was a staple of the GWEN industrialization process because the emerging GWEN auto industry needed lots of it for its tires.
Our schoolbooks speak dramatically of the brilliance of Henry Ford’s new production lines, but not about the kids in the Congo Basin who were getting their hands hacked off to deliver the tires for his completed products (Note: Ford was a classic racist).15
Leopold’s list of atrocities runs so deep that it’s almost impossible to measure it all. 500,000 people lost their lives to sleeping sickness alone as the local populations struggled with nearly unimaginable destitution at the hands of the mad king (who never visited the Congo) and his henchmen.
The movie “Apocalypse Now” is loosely based on events in the Congo Free State through its adaptation of Joseph Conrad’s novella, Heart of Darkness.16 The novella chronicles the exploits of a sailor named Charles Marlow, who describes a harrowing journey through the Congo Free State.
This paper from the History Guild provides some detail of life there:
The Force Publique’s officer corps included only white Europeans (Belgian regular soldiers and mercenaries from other countries). On arriving in the Congo, they recruited men from Zanzibar and west Africa, and eventually from the Congo itself. In addition, Leopold actually encouraged the slave trade among Arabs in the Upper Congo in return for slaves to fill the ranks of the FP. During the 1890s, the FP’s primary role was to exploit the natives as corvée laborers to promote the rubber trade.
Many of the black soldiers were from far-off peoples of the Upper Congo, while others had been kidnapped in raids on villages in their childhood and brought to Roman Catholic missions, where they received a military training in conditions close to slavery.
Armed with modern weapons and the chicotte — a bull whip made of hippopotamus hide — the Force Publique routinely took and tortured hostages, slaughtered families of rebels, and flogged and raped Congolese people. They also burned recalcitrant villages, and above all, cut off the hands of Congolese natives, including children.
From 1885–1908, millions of Congolese died as a consequence of exploitation and disease. In some areas, the population declined dramatically; it has been estimated that sleeping sickness and smallpox killed nearly half the population in the areas surrounding the lower Congo River.
The Congo Free State lasted from 1885 to 1908. This means it took barely two decades for GWEN to wipe out half of the Congo Basin’s population.
All in the name of rubber and, especially, hatred of Africans. Normal humans don’t hack off the hands of the children of people they admire.
The Destruction of Haiti by France, with an assist by Thomas Jefferson
Another highlight of depravity you may not have learned in school that deserves special attention is France’s destruction of Haiti, with not a small bit of help from President Thomas Jefferson, he of the Monticello nailry that put nine-year-old slaves to work.17
After Haiti’s slaves rebelled to form their own nation, GWEN went ballistic and did everything it could to put the recalcitrant former slaves in their place. How dare they?
Haiti had long been part of a larger exploitation of unwilling migrants from Africa in the Caribbean. The exploitation is best described by slaveholders of the GWEN state itself when they ruled Barbados with an iron fist through its Barbados Slave Code, which was codified in 1661:18
If any Negro or slave whatsoever shall offer any violence to any Christian by striking or any other form of violence, such Negro or slave shall for his or her first offense be severely whipped by the Constable.
For his second offense of that nature he shall be severely whipped, his nose slit, and be burned in some part of his face with a hot iron. And being brutish slaves, they deserve not, for the baseness of their condition, to be tried by the legal trial of twelve men of their peers, as the subjects of England are.
And it is further enacted and ordained that if any Negro or other slave under punishment by his master unfortunately shall suffer in life or member, which seldom happens, no person whatsoever shall be liable to any fine therefore.
This became the legal template for slavery by GWEN throughout the Americas. It was not necessarily put to paper, but slaveholders throughout the Americas abided by its precepts.
Haitians, led by Vincent Ogé and Toussaint Louverture, led the colonial world’s first and only revolution against slavery and GWEN.
As you can imagine, the revolution grew out of appalling conditions. Newly arrived slaves from West Africa had a fifty percent mortality rate from yellow fever, so slaveholders looked at those grim numbers and decided the best solution was to work their slaves as hard as they could before the yellow fever killed them.
Slaves in Haiti had no legal rights, so rape was commonplace under the already unbearable conditions of sugar and other types of plantations that imposed onerous working demands on endless hot, humid Caribbean days. There were no consequences for the rapists.19
For a brief moment after the Haitian Revolution, it looked like Haitians would build a successful island nation-state. They built magnificent architecture, most notably the Sans Souci Palace, built between 1806 and 1813, and formed a government.20
Lousy luck note: Earthquakes, like hurricanes, have been a frequent tormentor of Haitians. They have destroyed so much grand Haitian architecture that most of it has been buried in the rubble over the years.
Meanwhile, back in GWEN North America, President Thomas Jefferson became alarmed by the Haitian Revolution. The cotton gin was making itself known to the textile industry, which needed slaves to be profitable.
The slave revolt terrified Jefferson. His successful plantation on Monticello relied on a veritable small town of 400 or so slaves. If word spread to North American slaves that Haitians had thrown off the chains, the slaves of Monticello would surely be inspired.
Jefferson refused to recognize the new nation, and massaged diplomatic channels with his French allies to isolate the new nation from trade.21
Then, in 1825, French and GWEN King Charles X moored warships off the coast of Haiti and wrested a wild and crazy war reparations treaty out of the new Haitian government using classic gunboat diplomacy.22
In return for recognizing Haitian independence, Charles X demanded that Haiti pay a massive war reparations bill of 150 million gold francs (eventually reduced to 90 million) to ex-slaveholders.
This bears repeating: France demanded that the people it forced into labor camps from their home country in West Africa pay them for rebelling against their own captivity.
This was an impossible bill to pay, but Haitian President Jean-Pierre Boyer agreed to it anyway because the French promised to keep threatening Haiti’s existence with its large ships of war until they did.
The debt repayment scheme crushed the Haitian treasury and led to a permanent state of grinding poverty that the country never recovered from. To pay the bill, Haiti borrowed money from a French bank at high interest rates.
The debt was not paid off until 1947.
It’s fair to say that France owes Haiti a massive reparations settlement that will never come as long as GWEN continues to dominate the European foreign policy establishment.
Haitian hate runs so deep in GWEN that when Trump triggered laughter out of Kamala Harris during a presidential debate by saying Haitians were eating Springfield, Ohio’s dogs and cats, the GWEN population in America collectively, under hushed tones to prevent mockery, said, “Oh my God!” Then, 78 million people, most of them GWEN, voted for Trump in the November 2024 election.
Many progressive Americans typically think of Trump as being the instigator of modern Haitian hate, but the Biden administration’s embarrassing Haitian refugee policies triggered the resignation of its ambassador to Haiti, Daniel Foote, because it forced thousands of Haitians fleeing extreme violence and an earthquake back to Haiti. Foote said at the time, “I will not be associated with the United States’ inhumane, counterproductive decision to deport thousands of Haitian refugees.”23
The difference between Biden and Trump, of course, is that Biden relented under pressure and activated the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) program for Haitians, which allowed most Haitian refugees to remain in the United States (and which was recently rescinded by the Trump regime.24)
This kind of stuff happens quietly, behind the scenes or buried under hundreds of headlines Americans care more about. Often, because GWEN controls the media, Americans never see this kind of news.
Recent world history is full of GWEN atrocities
Most of GWEN’s litany of other crimes against humanity are well known, but people don’t seem capable of connecting the dots. Many of us who have been living as part of GWEN but are appalled when we read about its crimes on our behalf still struggle to accept full accountability.
Mention “reparations,” for example, in the context of North American slavery, and you’ll see people dive bomb out of the conversation faster than an American missile can slam into a Gaza hospital.
This is especially true when you bring receipts for all the other GWEN atrocities, only a few of which are listed by these bullet points:
Genocide and Ethnic Cleansing in North America. The star of that show is Donald Trump’s hero Andrew Jackson, who fired up the Trail of Tears.
Slavery in North America. Many of its victims are survived by descendants who could receive compensation for the atrocities through traceable links to the plantations and the inheritors of plantation wealth. But GWEN is mainstream in the United States, so that will never happen. Even people who consider themselves progressive grow squeamish at the thought of reparations.
The Colonization of Africa. Most people still act on the assumption that before Africa was colonized, it was nothing more than a big jungle of ignorant tribal warriors dancing around a big black kettle, probably cooking an unfortunate GWEN explorer. In reality, it was a massive continent full of nation-states that disappeared when the GWEN guns appeared.25
The Colonization of India. The colonization of India by GWEN empire builder Great Britain was so successful from a propaganda standpoint that a close Indian friend of mine once defended the Brits to me with an almost spooky aggression. (This is not the same Indian (Sikh) friend of mine who once answered my question, “How did you like working in the South?” with, “Dude, have you ever tried walking around the South wearing a turban?”).
The Colonization of South America and the Caribbean. Entire cultures were ripped out of their homelands, their history buried forever. Many of their stories are finally emerging, but the quest for their history promises to take a long time.
The Attack Against China. China agreed to pay $300 million in reparations to GWEN after a rebellion against GWEN within China’s borders failed in the early 1900s. Known to Westerners as the Boxer Rebellion,26 Chinese insurgents became radicalized after GWEN and Japan forced China’s Qing dynasty to submit to GWEN and Japanese control of its economy. This followed something called the Opium Wars, which claimed millions of Chinese lives as GWEN attempted to assert its dominance and the Chinese population fought back.
Ukraine. Russian president Vladimir Putin has used minority populations in Russia as cannon fodder in the Ukraine War for more than four years. GWEN apologists will rationalize the disparity of armed services mortality rates between majority white Russian areas such as Moscow and the economically disadvantaged areas in Siberia and the Russian Far East by insisting that economically disadvantaged men are rushing to the front to make the Russian version of a dime. But it doesn’t take a social justice warrior to imagine former Hungarian president Viktor Orbán cheering from the sidelines as the Russian army adds to ethnic attrition rates by flooding Siberia and the Russian Far East with recruitment officers.
Gaza. It’s genocide.27 Ed Sheeran’s cheery little songs won’t change that. Itamar Ben-Gvir, who is now Israel’s minister of national security, began his career as a member of the same right-wing terrorist group that assassinated Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin in 1995, thus ending any hopes for a peaceful settlement of the Palestinian dispute.

This brings us to the apex of GWEN’s current power. GWEN’s most extreme factions control all three branches of the U.S. government. More than a gazillion words have been written elsewhere about the crimes of the current U.S. government. To avoid redundancy, I’ll leave that topic alone.
Except for this:
On July 17, NPR reported that cuts to USAID funding by Elon Musk and his Tech bro kiddies through the Trump regime’s “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE) resulted in 700,000 deaths, including half a million children. Most of the deaths occurred in sub-Saharan Africa.28
Musk trumpeted the end of USAID by saying that he was “feeding USAID into the wood chipper.”
Every white person is complicit
Those of us in the GWEN tribe who say, “But I’m not responsible for all this racism and oppression,” are ignoring our complicity. This complicity can be as simple as looking the other way. It can be as simple as not voting.
It can even be as ironically simple as not voting for Kamala because you thought she was supporting Israel’s Gaza terror. Trump told you what he would do to Gaza. He and his buddy Netanyahu did it and are still doing it. If you declined to vote for Kamala because you were basking in some kind of privileged righteous sanctimony, I’ve got a few hundred thousand dead African children for you to explain yourselves to.
Reasonable people can argue about the details around our complicity, but until racism is eradicated from the soul of GWEN, complicity exists within us all. Until we can declare the world free of racists, we are all responsible for their outrages.
When we root for our favorite sports teams without taking stadium owners to the court of decency over their censorship of Macklemore (for example)29 because the rapper speaks out about Palestinian genocide, we are complicit.
Yes, complicity really can be as simple as clutching a football in front of the television set while rooting for your favorite team.
So while the rest of GWEN rails and freaks out about the changing demographics of Europe and the United States, I’m going to cheer it on and celebrate it at the nearest Ethiopian restaurant in one of the most diverse cities in America, Atlanta, Georgia.
I’ll feel safe doing it, too, because unlike my white brethren, nobody with darker skin is out to kill me because of my skin color. Instead, they welcome me into their restaurants with a smile and pleasant warmth still missing from the redneck countertops of the South when a Sikh dares to walk in for a cup of coffee.

Henry Ford’s racism on behalf of GWEN was legendary. In 1919, he purchased the Dearborn Independent newspaper, then used it to issue forth a series of virulently antisemitic articles, which were subsequently compiled into something called The International Jew.
He was a modern day Elon Musk (who hates anyone with a slightly darker hue than he): His propaganda was so influential that Adolf Hitler praised him in Mein Kampf, and Nazi Germany awarded him the Grand Cross of the German Eagle in 1938.
