Thanks Charles, I sure wish I could have a conversation with my dad about the state of our nation. I think my dad was probably an "Ike Republican" too, in the 50's after coming home home from the "police action" in South Korea.

To his credit, he didn’t leave office despondent. He went out and created a social services infrastructure as his lasting legacy, which is pretty cool.

Thanks, Charles. My dad had his issues, but I think he would have hated Trump. My siblings are Republican, and but of the Lincoln Project variety.
