Either that, or it's the greatest (for being undetected as such by him who it mocks so...mockingly) the greatest work of satire in the history of the language.

I appreciate you slogging through 80 pages of so-called greatness. I would’ve choked on my own vomit a few pages in.

I'm a fast reader. I know how to skim through 80 pages of self indulgence without truly reading it, but can still pick out the stuff I need to. I think I learned it in journalism school, where I had to copy edit an entire daily newspaper at 1 I'm the morning in about 20 minutes lol.

This would be great trolling. I thought, why the satire warning, I can tell what's satire.

Then I read the whole thing.

I've read dishonest filings, lies, but never lies that were so stupid. No one writes like that. It has to have been AI or Siri speech to text.

So will trump let counsel take out all the adulation? It COULD be boiled down to 40 pages if all the examples of His Awesomeness were moved to teeny tiny footnotes. Then the main cause of action (the NY times criticizes me and that's defamation and blasphemy both) would stand out more clearly.

He'll have to if he doesn't want it dismissed again. Either way, he's not getting capitulation this time, I don't think.

i want it to turn out that the lawyers who drafted this abomination were taking the piss to some extent. like, they were ordered to be “complementary in every possible way” and they shifted to “obsequious bootlicking” to make a point and annoy the court into tossing the whole thing.

sadly, i don’t think the lawyers still choosing to work for this regime have that kind of mettle, if i’m honest.

One of them (Brito) is also a principal in suing The Lincon Project, so I suspect they are true believers.

Yeah you can't be a normal person and work for this regime. The days of working it from the inside seem long gone. The adults in the room have been chased out by the rats.
