The mad clown’s Interior Department, which is now helmed by Trump sycophant Doug Burgum, decided to release a video to celebrate July 4th. They released it several days after the holiday, but nobody ever accused the Trump regime of being good at math.
Not Satire Alert: No, I repeat, no, this is NOT satire
I will continue to try to write the occasional satire piece, but how can I when this kind of thing happens?
What kind of thing, the intrepid reader queries? Well, have a look at the video (yes, it’s real) produced by the Department of the Interior. It was created to “celebrate” the worst 4th of July this country has seen since Thomas Jefferson bumped his head on the bedpost whilst running out of Sally Hemings’ bedroom, thinking the fireworks he heard were gunshots from her kinfolk charging into the house to save her.
Some people think I’m occasionally funny. No, you’re funny. Here are some comments from the video (some more amusing than others, but all a slice of Americana). I’ll add that the funniest part of this is that these clowns left comments enabled (for now) so that Americans could heap the appropriate abuse upon this AI monstrosity:

I assumed this was a parody. Dear god it’s real. It would be less embarrassing for the Department of the Interior to claim they were hacked and vital infrastructure compromised than take ownership of this.
Americans: "Can we have affordable health care, a sustainable cost of living, and a livable minimum wage?" This administration: "Best I can do is Great Value North Korean propaganda videos and 130 billion dollars for a gestapo to strip your rights and dignity away in broad daylight."
In some other, better universe, this was an SNL skit.
After watching this I don't think we are going to make it to 260 years.
Love that they used a red-tailed hawk vocalization for the eagle scream. “We’re the new branded DOI, but we don’t know what our national bird sounds like.” It’s perfect. Hot-diggity-doggin-Hulk-Hogan perfect.

Burgum replaced Deb Haaland, the country's first indigenous cabinet secretary, so that the mad clown could convert the department from one designed to protect natural resources to one designed to exploit them.
