Great piece... you really uncovered every stone. Interesting to read through and see where they are now. Dirtbags every one.

AND THIS: "The State of the Union this year can be summed up by one word: Broken."

We truly are.

How hateful do you have to be to think you should get reparations for a violent insurrection. The criminals that were pardoned by the felon don’t deserve to be walking free, looking for their next victim.

So many things they all do or say are hard for me to grasp either intellectually or emotionally.

Thank you, Charles. That's great work. Well, we know where these scumbags are, so I guess it's on us to exact retribution.

Thank you. If we ever get this country back, we need to reform presidential power. How to tackle Article II in the constitution is going to be a challenge. A constitutional convention scares me because of the convention rules would favor Republicans. Maybe a constitutional amendment would be possible if people could just remind everyone what happened.

I'm thinking several amendments. The main one being that corporations aren't people and money isn't speech. That's the root of all evil.

This was a post that must have taken you quite a while to research. Thanks for doing the research.

I'd heard that the insurrectionists were getting re-arrested for additional illegalities. Interesting how many of those illegalities were related to women, children, pornography, sexual assult.... There is no word I can think of that properly describes people like that.

Thanks, Katharine. As I said in the post, I did get a lot of help from Wikipedia, which can be an underrated resource. If used correctly, however, including doing some fact checking, it can save a lot of time.

The fact checking takes time, but nowhere near as much as the core research to gather all those names, which were done, of course, in a collaborative way, that being the nature of Wikipedia.

The criminal activity after the fact is sort of what motivated the post. I had seen news reports dribble in, so I wondered about that, and there it was, right there in front of me. Not that I was surprised.
