Minneapolis Mayor Politely Asks ICE to Leave His City [UPDATED]
And some notes on an unusually insane day even by the regime's standards
Trigger Warning: Graphic video and F bombs
Note: Jump to the latest update here.
It was supposed to be just another quiet winter day in America, with Trump hoodlums stalking the streets and abducting people of color.

Instead, one man, who looks suspiciously like a Proud Boy or Groyper goon, shot a woman in cold blood in her SUV. According to still images extracted from video, this appears to be the man who allegedly killed Renee Nicole Good on January 7, 2026 one day after the anniversary of the insurrection so many of his cohorts, possibly including him, attended:

Updated: Shootings in Portland today; see end of post for that
There’s some disturbing video in this post, so I suggest that if you’re not comfortable viewing harrowing, tense scenes, you don’t hit the “play” arrow. There’s no bloodshed that I can see, but my vision is still messed up from my rather alarming medical event from November 2024, so keep that in mind. I may just not be seeing it.
I include this video not for clicks or titillation, but to push back on Gestapo Chief Kristi Noem’s claims that the victim of the attack was, in her words, “a domestic terrorist.” Noem went a lot further than that, but I don’t want to pass her words further into cyberspace than they already are, since she’s been widely discredited.
Before you look at the video, I want you to take a moment to read this statement from the Department of Justice (DOJ) that tells federal agents how to handle people in vehicles, whether they present a threat or not.
It’s simple enough that even someone who kills her dogs for sport can understand it:
Deadly force may not be used solely to prevent the escape of a fleeing suspect.
Firearms may not be discharged solely to disable moving vehicles. Specifically, firearms may not be discharged at a moving vehicle unless: (1) a person in the vehicle is threatening the officer or another person with deadly force by means other than the vehicle; or (2) the vehicle is operated in a manner that threatens to cause death or serious physical injury to the officer or others, and no other objectively reasonable means of defense appear to exist, which includes moving out of the path of the vehicle. Firearms may not be discharged from a moving vehicle except in exigent circumstances. In these situations, an officer must have an articulable reason for this use of deadly force.
These instructions come directly from the DOJ here. Will Pam Bondi take it down while she’s busy redacting the Trump/Epstein Files? It’s possible, but the Internet Archive, known affectionately by some as the Wayback Machine, will keep it archived at least until the regime finds a way to kill that off, too.
I also have this screenshot for posterity:
There is no way to review the following video, which features three different angles of view, and not come to the conclusion that this was cold-blooded murder. There was no defense mechanism involved here. Even if somehow you conclude that the video shows Renee Nicole was aiming her vehicle at the goon, he could have easily stepped away, despite his clearly poor physique, considering that her vehicle was barely moving.
Here is the video.1 Remember my trigger warnings. The officer who shot Ms. Good is not the guy at the door. He’s behind that man and appears shortly after the goon at the driver's side door tries to open it.
AT 0:20 into the video on the left, you can see the second goon, behind the first, drawing his weapon. You can see that by this time, her front tires (video on the right) are clearly turned away from both men.
I obtained this video from a Reddit site, but it is clearly the same scenes as shown elsewhere. No video or image manipulation.
A more intense version of this, including the aftermath, can be found here:
There’s no bloodshed in that video either (I don’t think — same vision caveat as before), for those who are squeamish, but it’s an intense scene with a lot of angry people desperately trying to shoo ICE out of their neighborhood, but somehow, magically, remaining peaceful.
The woman with the camera is a hero, as are many others in this film.
The mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey, didn’t mince words when he told ICE to get the “F*ck out” of his city.
Frey is pissed. He wants the destructive, pathological lunatics of ICE out of Minneapolis.
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara seemed to imply an investigation into the shooting, but made no mention of one in a subsequent interview with NPR.2
The “I stand with the mayor” version of O’Hara said that the Minneapolis Police Department turned the evidence they had over to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, but did not mention anything about the Hennepin County District Attorney’s office.
The “I’m facing a national audience” version of O’Hara did not hint at all of any investigations in the NPR story.
Scott Dworkin reports that Representative Robin Kelly (D, IL) has filed impeachment proceedings against Noem.3
Mainstream media loves to discuss a divided America. Then, it rationalizes it by trying to give credence to the other side.
The problem is that there are, indeed, two Americas. One is sane, the other is not. It’s not about politics. Ask anyone from the Bulwark Never Trumper Republican Substack how they feel about socialized medicine.
They’re on our side because the tent of justifiable Trump hatred is so large. They’ll return to their rightful place in conservative politics after the regime has collapsed. This is not a bad thing. Having a large, united army of sane people determined to impeach this regime out of existence is a great thing. We can all argue over policy later.
The media treats the regime as if it’s staffed with normal people instead of lunatics like Kristi Noem. It ignores that 30% of Americans think this kind of behavior is normal as they try to defend it.
That’s the real divide. Insane/Not insane. It’s not complicated.
Someday, perhaps, sociologists will sort it out and determine how 30% of us became brainwashed.
Noem’s Gesapo has invaded Minnesota with 2,000 stormtrooper cosplayers with the same kind of flash mob police training as Renee Nicole Good’s alleged murderer.
The main reason for the invasion? A fraudulent video alleging massive fraud among Somalis in that city by right-wing YouTuber Nick Shirley.4
Trump, who soaks up dozens of right-wing videos every night while he’s trying to crash from whatever uppers his staff is giving him to keep him awake during the day, used Shirley’s video to justify the invasion.
Expect more mayhem.
Trump kills child care programs in five blue states
His quest to deflect from the Trump-Epstein Files yesterday also included cutting off $10 billion in funding for child care and family assistance programs in Illinois, California, Colorado, Minnesota, and New York.5
In Illinois, this would immediately impact 100,000 families that receive subsidized child care through the Child Care Assistance Program.
He wasn’t done.
Trump withdraws U.S. from 66 humanitarian UN agencies.
The Trump regime has already withdrawn from UNESCO, the World Health Organization, and the U.N. Human Rights Council.
Not satisfied with his mendacity, he withdrew from dozens more yesterday.6 According to the New York Times, these include UN forums and agencies that provide cooperation in such areas as “international security, law, trade, economics and human rights.”7
You can find a list of affected agencies in a comprehensive list in the footnotes.8
Marco Rubio, who each day exponentially builds his sycophancy into an AI-enhanced art form, said the following in trying to justify the moves:
“It is no longer acceptable to be sending these institutions the blood, sweat and treasure of the American people, with little to nothing to show for it…
As this list begins to demonstrate, what started as a pragmatic framework of international organizations for peace and cooperation has morphed into a sprawling architecture of global governance, often dominated by progressive ideology and detached from national interests. From DEI mandates to “gender equity” campaigns to climate orthodoxy, many international organizations now serve a globalist project rooted in the discredited fantasy of the “End of History.” These organizations actively seek to constrain American sovereignty. Their work is advanced by the same elite networks—the multilateral “NGO-plex”— that we have begun dismantling through the closure of USAID.
“Holy Project 2025, Batman!”
Trump says U.S. may occupy Venezuela for years
In a two-hour interview with several reporters from the New York Times,9 during which most of them passed out from exhaustion and mental duress after an hour or so, 10 Trump claimed the U.S. would probably need to occupy Venezuela for years, even though the U.S. is not currently occupying the country, and probably never will.
The biggest takeaway from the interview was this:
Trump was animated and energetic throughout the interview.
That’s New York Times sanewash-speak for, “His bulbous orange head was spinning around like Linda Blair’s worst moments while he blathered nonsensically, forcing our reporters to beg for chloroform.”
The Department of Justice has released less than 1% of the Trump-Epstein Files
Meanwhile, the Guardian is reporting that the DOJ, under yet another criminal, Pam Bondi, has refused to turn over the Trump-Epstein files under the guise of, “We’re working on it, but we are hoping our Dear Leader can blow up the world first.”

Good God.
I could go on, because more shit hit the fan yesterday, but I’m exhausted.
Aren’t you?
Update: Two people shot in Portland
Shootings in Portland, now. Not much is known as I write this, but the usual American Gestapo excuses are being used. This from the New York Times (the footnote is a 🎁 gift link 🎁 ):11
U.S. Border Patrol agents were conducting a “targeted vehicle stop,” and one fired a shot after a driver tried to run them over, a Homeland Security Department spokeswoman said in a statement.
The spokeswoman, Tricia McLaughlin, described the agents’ target as an undocumented immigrant and member of Tren de Aragua, a gang with roots in a Venezuelan prison that has been a frequent target of President Trump. She provided no immediate evidence of his gang membership.
Tricia McLaughlin is a young woman who should know better than help promote fascism. Where these enablers come from is beyond my understanding.
Notes
Thanks to Cliff Lake for noticing my bizarre typo on the date of Renee Nicole’s murder (2008!).
If you want me to write about something, drop me a note in the comments. The library of this regime’s odious behavior is so huge that I need a filter.
You can also help by restacking! You’d be surprised the impact one restack has.
Thanks for reading!

Via a newsletter, sorry, no link
This comes from unreliable, possibly drunk sources, such as Pete Kegsbreath

Having watched several videos from the scene of the murder of Renee Good yesterday, I’ve come to the conclusion that DHS, under Kristi Noem is a rogue department. The lies and evasions coming from both DHS and the White House definitely form a basis on which to impeach both Noem and the felon.
I’ve just read that the Senate voted to block the war powers of the felon, with 5 GOP Senators crossing over to vote with the Democrats. There is hope that this criminality will be coming to an end in the not too distant future.
Excellent post! Thank you for your analysis. I’d take the sane/insane label to cult members/normal folks
