Could it have been staged? Well, there’s Trump’s magic ear, so possibly. Is it a misguided man who’s just fucking pissed off at our country going down the toilet according to his manifesto? Most likely. Regardless, I question everything this cockamamie government tells us.
Secret Service agent fires five times and misses. Anyone yet figure out who shot the Secret Service agent in the chest who was wearing the bulletproof vest? The party crasher or friendly fire?
Merz has just said that the US is being humiliated by the Iranian leadership. As usual he's wrong. The US is being humiliated by its own "leadership".
While most politicians recognise their ambitions are limited by systemic controls, Trump will pull any brazen and vile stunt to grab the pie and stuff his face. So, yeah, it's not in the least unthinkable that he'd stage any utterly despicable act to further his desires. And the truth of that, whether this particular sad moment in a tsunami of desperately sad moments in US history is real or not, is a massive humiliation for the US.
I know its trite to say so, but ridding the US of a ignorant tyrant like Trump is only the beginning of the a steep uphill battle to build proper safeguards into a system that merrily and enthusiastically installed this moron in the first place.
It’s been a little bit of relief to see Hungary taking steps to dismantle Orbanism so quickly. We will need to find a way to restrain the corrupt Supreme Court in the U.S. from preventing reform.
True, it's good to see the charade of Orban dismantled so quickly, but the 16 years of power he managed is a worrisome prelude to the collapse.
I know it's a bit off topic but my worry is that those values and fanaticism that enable Trump are a specifically American experience and the demise/collapse of that is much more difficult to predict.
Anyhoo, I've very much enjoyed a few of your articles Charles, thanks :)
Thanks, much appreciated. I will most likely occasionally write an article you **don't** like, too. Not on purpose, but because I just let it fly sometimes. :-)
The facts of Pizzagate are just as abominable: The conspiracy theorists stormed the pizzeria, certain that children were being imprisoned in the basement. Except, the store didn’t have a basement. Not even a back room. Did that convince these know nothings they were wrong? Naaah!

That's the problem right there. I don't believe a word of anything they say. If they said that water is vital to survival, I'd stop drinking it.

Last I saw they were blaming the party crasher, but they didn't say it with much confidence or authority, I didn't think.
My money’s on “Friendly Fire” (We’ll see if they fess up)
Party crasher didn’t fire any shots according to latest reports

Ha ha let loose buddy :)
There is nothing that comes out of this regimes mouth that is anywhere near close to truth.
It is no longer funny to say "You can't just make this s..t up."
