1. Good presentation of the mess we are in with the Federalist Society.
2. I caught your subtle reference to your birthday.
3. Had forgotten the details of the Willie Horton nonsense.
4. I am a Democratic Socialist. Can you be more specific about how long I have to wait my turn. I have had my arm raised since 1971, and it's gone to sleep.
5. I watched the confirmation hearings of Thomas, Coney Barrett, and Kavanaugh. I didn't see how they could be confirmed. The men are just wackos. Ms. Coney Barrett is plain spooky.
Thanks. I like leaving little Easter eggs in stuff - more often my fiction than political rants.
1971, eh? I understand. I never called myself a Democratic Socialist, but I suppose it fits. I've been left of Bernie since the late 70s. I am pragmatic when it comes to presidential elections, though. I just always vote for the smart one. By coincidence, those are always Democrats. I guess Bush Sr was smart, but I didn't vote for him. It's all a mess. Has been for a long time. How we go from being on the back of our heels all the time to actually fixing things is something I don't honestly see happening. Sad but true.
I appreciate your humor during these trying times.
I like what you did with the photo. It reminded me of when Marty McFly saw his family disappearing in a photo in Back to the Future, fitting since we’re going backwards.

I was lying here thinking the same thing.
I need to read a book or watch an ancient Letterman multi-day rant.
“Clarence “Coke Can” Thomas” 🤣

Thanks. It's laugh or cry. Or both. But laughter helps me cope. Tonight I caught up on the 2 south park episodes. Holy shit, lol.
Local action, start at the bottom.
