Hello, Charles. I'm feeling worn out, too! With exception of Resistbot letters, I'm taking a break from contacting my MOC until September. I always look and appreciate for your notes in the comments sections of authors we both read, although I don't read all your articles!
I must admit. When I first looked at this post, I read "mad cow regime". That made me think of "mad cow disease". Maybe that's what's wrong with this regime!
My yoga instructor shared this quote with me: ""If you want to believe the world is terrible, watch the news. If you want to believe the world is incredible, spend time in nature." I don't know who the author is, but it's so true.
Enjoy your time away. Take a breath - or two!- and refresh. I'll be here when you come back.
Thank you, and thank you for reading so much of my "stuff.". I like what your yoga instructor says. It's spot on. And the other thing is the people who are upset with the situation are pretty amazing people. It's an advantage we have. I'm old-fashioned enough that good does win out over evil (or darkness, or whatever you wish to call it).
We're in agreement that non-stop atrocity news without solutions being presented at the same time causes extreme depression and lethargy. What we need now are easily implemented and effective solutions.
Hmmm... maybe thats why I'm in a funk. TOO MUCH shitty news and commentary. It's not worth my mental health to read all this stuff. YOU? I always read! And D. Earl Stephens? You bet. Thanks for the shout out, Charles.
I'm packing up my car now to take a leisurely drive from the farm to Philadelphia. No rush. Lots of music and Spanish lessons...and thinking about my big trip coming up. I think escaping the American madness will do me good.
I feel the same, C.B. We will reconnoiter at the ridge directly...I will very much enjoy the Ruminato experience...many thanks for getting it out for us...
See you later. I still haven't caught up on your fiction.
We are all a bit crazy. It's normal.
