I would like to add that no one that ordered the "Trump Phone" seems to have received theirs. I did NOT order that phone AND ALSO HAVE NOT RECEIVED ONE!! So, same, same...

In the software biz we had a name for software that never gets released after multiple promises: vaporware. Not sure what we call these. Vapor phones? Grift Phones?

Doesn't "Trump Phone" suffice? I reference Trump Steaks, Trump Airlines, Trump Water, Trump Vodka, Trump Taj Mahal, and cetera, as none of these things also exist.

In fact, Trump University was known for taking money and providing no value in return.

So much chaos and so little ideation for radical things to do. How about this? (Or what?)

A radical idea for a desperate time

Great post! Many thanks! As a longtime Southern resident I take offense at the “wine mom” label. Bourbon in sweet tea is a killer beverage. It also burns well and is very sticky. For my northern gal pals I’d say whiskey neat but we’d never waste a good one on ICE slugs; it might be an after rally thing. I’d recommend a micro brewery for them instead; Sam Adams (yes the political connection is intended). The derogatory wine mom term implies a dilettante with nothing “better “ to do. I’m over 50 and a Monty Python enthusiast so I’m ok with Hell’s Grannies…or maybe pissed off progressive?

Thanks :-)

I haven't seen Monty Python for years! I don't drink, but I'll admit that Bourbon in sweet tea sounds pretty fantastic.

I normally don’t drink either; but djt’s antics end will be a cause for a big celebration . One of my southern friends used to invite myself and my bff over for a glad of sweet tea. I think he put 3 fingers of tea and the rest bourbon. You almost couldn’t taste the bourbon, the tea was sooo sweet. But when y’all got up to walk, you FELT it. (We walked home!)

Seriously, Maine? What am I missing?

Charles Bastille's avatar

I'm pretty sure my theory is correct! (when I first posted this comment on the app it appeared under the main thread).

Not doubting you. Just wondering what could possibly be of interest to ice in Maine? Seems like a quiet place

Charles Bastille's avatar

No idea. It's an odd choice. It's not even a blue state, really. More of a toss up states, which means it's also a pretty dumb idea since ICE is so out of control.

I am victorious. I figured it out. 😁 Yay, me!

Ok, even more confused. Why does it look like I hit reply to Cliff's comment? I didn't hit reply. Yep, I had enough internet for today. LOL

I'm so confused. I liked your piece but it doesn't show. My likes don't show at all...for anyone. It's like I'm a ghost leaving a stealthy like. LOL

If you're using the phone app, it can be both glitchy and confusing. Glad you liked it!

It's all good. I figured it out. 😁
