Toddlers Scream as Daycare Worker is Abducted, the Trump Brain Drain, and More: The Battle for Chicago
The week's news on the Battle for Chicago and other immigration fronts

The latest news in the Battle for Chicago and other immigration fronts:
Here’s some of what has been happening on the front lines of the war against America, most of which is still in Chicago, but is coming to a neighborhood near you, if it isn’t already there.
Note that I have begun calling citizen resistance groups and their allies “Allied” forces and the Homeland Security forces “Axis” forces, for what I think are obvious reasons.
This is a long post because a lot has happened, and it’s become a living document.

Federal Judge will release hundreds of abducted immigrants on bond
A federal judge has delivered the middle finger to Oberführer Gregory Bovino as the so-called CBP commander prepares to exit Chicago after his cosplay warriors raised a little havoc but are on the verge of leaving town with their tails between their legs.
According to the Chicago Tribune,2 U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Cummings said he plans to release on bond the illegally detained migrants who were kidnapped as part of a “warrantless arrest” process that took place throughout the city during Bovino’s brief tenure in Chicago. The judge determined that these migrants were abducted without a prior warrant or any probable cause. Those with a clear criminal background would be exempt from his order. The migrants will still face an immigration hearing in the future, hence the bond.
Is Chicago on the verge of declaring victory against stormtroopers?
The Chicago Tribune is reporting that Border Patrol Chief (aka Oberführer) Gregory Bovino and his platoon of stormtroopers are planning to leave Chicago, possibly within days.
Bovino has faced stiff resistance in Chicago since his arrival. Allied forces have organized neighborhoods by implementing tactics like distributing whistles used by citizens to alert others that stormtroopers are in the area. The tactics are said to have had a huge impact on the ability of Oberführer’s poorly trained and out-of-shape patrol units to abduct citizens.
So, Bovino is pulling out, according to three sources who spoke to the Tribune.3
Those sources are telling the Tribune that Bovino will be moving on to a new assignment, which means Allied forces will need to help communicate how the whistle program and other Axis mitigation efforts worked to the next city the lunatics invade.
ICE Pepper Sprays a vehicle with a one-year-old child inside for the fun of it
Goons in an ICE vehicle heading to their assault on Little Village in Chicago pepper-sprayed a vehicle they encountered driving in the opposite direction. The victims of the assault, Rafael Veraza and Evelin Herrera and their one-year-old daughter, were far away from Little Village. They were in Berwyn, Illinois, on their way to Sam’s club for diapers and eggs.4
Just for kicks, ICE stormtroopers blasted them with pepper spray as they drove by in the opposite direction:
All three were blasted with the stuff. The little daughter was a lot tougher than the ICE cowards. The only reason the ICE goons could have had for doing this was to entertain themselves.
Is the Supreme Court’s slow pace on the Illinois National Guard decision a good sign?
The Chicago Tribune is reporting5 that conservative justices on the court seem divided on how to handle the regime’s determination to violate Illinois state sovereignty by activating the Illinois National Guard and sending Texas National Guard troops to Illinois against Illinois Governor JB Pritzker’s wishes.
The justices “do not appear to think that there is an emergency requiring their immediate action,” said Carolyn Shapiro, founder and co-director of the Chicago-Kent College of Law’s Institute on the Supreme Court of the United States. “They can and do act very fast. And they’re not.”
No decision is expected before the middle of November at the earliest. The court continues to ask for more documentation from the regime and the Illinois Attorney General’s office.
Stormtroopers pose in front of iconic “Bean” in Chicago whilst yelling, “Little Village!”
Block Club Chicago is reporting that several border patrol agents, along with CBP Oberführer Greg Bovino, posed in front of Chicago’s iconic “Bean” sculpture, aka Cloud Gate, at Millennium Park.6
There, they chanted, “Little Village!” to celebrate their recent assault there.
Ruminato has obtained exclusive photos of the posers, which is one reason you should subscribe. Who else has this kind of in-depth photojournalism?

🎁 Inside Chicago’s growing resistance movement against Operation Midway Blitz 🎁
An excerpt:
Baltazar Enriquez began wearing his whistle in June, when the threat of the Trump administration’s immigration raids was more focused and the fear perhaps less widespread in Chicago. The whistle — green plastic, attached to an orange lanyard — was at first a small gesture of preparedness. It has since become a symbol of resistance.
In the beginning, the sight of it around Enriquez’s neck prompted questions and confusion in Little Village, one of Chicago’s proudest Latino neighborhoods. He remembers people asking him, perplexed: “What is a whistle gonna do?”
“And we said, ‘Well, the whistle is in case immigration is around, and you start blowing. The whistle is for people who are undocumented to go away, to lock their doors, lock their gates and not open the door.’
“And it grew like wildfire. Now everybody’s using it.”
For the past two months of President Donald Trump’s so-called Operation Midway Blitz, federal agents have engaged in a norm-defying assault on the Chicago area. In Little Village, where Enriquez is president of the community council, restaurant doors have remained locked and business along 26th Street has slowed.
The resistance born there, though, has spread. A movement that began in Chicago’s Latino enclaves has arrived in neighborhoods everywhere, breaking through segregation and boundaries long defined by race and socioeconomic status. A city known for its resilience and a take-no-nonsense attitude has found another reason to unite
And in its unity, the city has made a statement, an unmistakable message akin to the one a woman packing whistles at a recent “Whistlemania” event on the Northwest Side hoped to send.
“Show ’em that you don’t (expletive) with Chicago,” she said.
The whistles have become part of the city’s soundtrack, the sight of them around people’s necks as common as Bears jerseys. But the resistance to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers and U.S. Border Patrol agents, often dressed in tactical gear, toting weapons built for war through city neighborhoods and suburban subdivisions, has taken many forms. A movement has grown through acts large and small.
Resistance is a woman documenting the deployment of tear gas in Broadview. It’s neighbors coming together to grab one of their own from the grasp of federal agents in Old Irving Park. It’s a white suburban mom rushing from her house in Mount Prospect, phone camera in hand, to scream at federal agents to get out of her village.
It’s a 24-year-old man, the son of Mexican migrants, who alerted dozens of day laborers of the presence of ICE during a recent raid in the northwest suburbs, and then sheltered and protected them. It’s a young Black man on the South Side recording the detainment of several U.S. citizens following an apparently warrantless raid and sharing that video with the world.
And it’s hundreds of high school students who walked out of their classes and into the streets of Little Village, carrying flags and signs and blowing whistles, literally and figuratively.
In Little Village alone, Enriquez said, he and his colleagues on the community council have distributed almost 10,000 whistles. In the earliest days of the Chicago resistance, he said ICE and Border Patrol officers responded with bewilderment when people began blowing them in their presence. Enriquez can remember one agent who smirked and laughed at the sound.
“But he didn’t, once he saw people locking their doors and getting away,” he said.
The movement, like the noise, has only grown more intense.
ICE to Waukegan alderman: “Put your hands up or I’ll blow your f—–g face off”
Waukegan, Illinois, is supposed to be a quiet lakefront town north of Chicago. From there, you make your way through Zion, then Winthrop Harbor, and you’re in Wisconsin.
It was quiet until 3rd Ward alderman Juan Martinez made what could have been a tragic mistake: He dared to drive through town while named “Juan.”
While he was waiting for traffic, he was pulled over for being Juan by ICE stormtroopers who were doing a bit of racial profiling in the area.
They jumped out of their vehicles, yelling for him to get out of his car.
According to the Lake County News-Sun:7
While the guns were pointed at him with his hands raised, Martinez said he kept saying, “Don’t kill me. Don’t kill me.”
“My life flashed before my eyes,” he said. “All I could think of was my family was going to be planning my funeral.”
One of the stormtroopers said, in as nice a voice as he could muster, “Put your hands up or I’ll blow your f—–g face off.”
Martinez was saved by members of the community who witnessed the event and told the goons, hopefully not nicely, that he was a city alderman.
He has filed a report with the Waukegan city police department.
Judge blocks National Guard presence in Portland.
Permanently.
Quoting the New York Times:
With her temporary block expiring, Judge Karin Immergut said the Trump administration had failed to prove that protesters were hampering President Trump’s policies.
President Trump overstepped his authority when he sought to deploy National Guard troops to Portland, Ore., to protect the Immigration and Customs Enforcement office there, a federal judge ruled on Friday, issuing a permanent block on troop deployments to the city in response to anti-ICE demonstrations.
It’s late, so here’s a free NY Times 🎁 gift link:
CBP Oberführer Greg Bovino confronted by Little Village Residents
As Oberführer Bovino led a convoy of tinted SUVs through Chicago’s Southside today (Saturday, November 8), he was trailed by another convoy, this one made of citizens determined to get in his face.
The citizen convoy trailed the Oberführer’s convoy for two hours, harassing camouflaged stormtroopers anytime they were stupid enough to step out of their vehicles. In a typical MAGA mockery of patriotism, the axis stormtroopers wore things like balaclavas decorated with the kind of stars you see on American flags.
Allied reports indicate that the stormtrooper convoy navigated South Side streets erratically, like Guillermo J. Diaz-Torres, I guess, an ICE stormtrooper recently arrested by Oak Brook police officers for drunk driving (see story below).
There’s a lot of dangerous cosplay going on here. The stormtroopers are armed with heavy-duty combat weapons and even night vision helmets. Crazy stuff. Bovino thinks he’s in Fallujah. Is he having a massive PTSD moment? Wouldn’t it be less expensive to the nation to simply get him the help he needs?
I wasn’t there to report on this activity, but the Chicago Tribune was:8
“They come in like thugs and expect us to give them a hug and a kiss?” said community leader Baltazar Enriquez, addressing Cmdr. Bovino directly. “They’re doing it on purpose—to put on a show for their supporters and to test us. They want to provoke the community. Don’t fall for the bait.”
The confrontation marks the latest flashpoint in a growing tension between local residents and federal immigration authorities, with many accusing Border Patrol of intimidation and harassment rather than legitimate enforcement.
As they drove away from the heart of Little Village, protesters followed.
At the entrance to a Home Depot, a woman sat in the passenger seat of a car, bouncing an infant girl. The girl was silent. Her eyes were damp and bloodshot. Next to the car, a man screamed and stripped off his shirt. A woman spoke to him in Spanish, telling him to let him put water on his head.
The man and the baby had both been tear gassed.
Update:
Homeland Security is now trying to claim that a man in a black jeep fired shots at them.9 This is an unconfirmed report, and nothing they say should be taken seriously without witnesses to corroborate the claims.
CBP Oberführer Greg Bovino to his stormtroopers in Los Angeles: “It’s Our F–king City”
In a newly released video (thanks to relentless efforts by Allied immigration lawyers in Chicago), Greg Bovino, the nominal head of the Customs and Border Protection agency (CBP), told his stormtroopers that L.A. is “their city” now. He also told them to “arrest as many people that touch you as you want to.”
Technically, Bovino is only a “Commander” (nice Handmaid’s Tale touch, CBP) of the Border Patrol, which is an agency answerable to the umbrella organization, CBP, that runs the whole mess. But he might as well be running the whole show with the way he’s stuck his face and thuggishness into the media spotlight.
U.S. District judge slaps Bovino with an injunction that limits further use of force against demonstrators
In a hearing that included the aforementioned video, U.S. District Judge Sara Ellis said Thursday that Bovino lied to the court in previous testimony about throwing tear gas without warning at protesters (he denied it). So she slapped him with an injunction limiting the use of force, which Bovino is likely to ignore.10
“I find the government’s evidence to be simply not credible,” Judge Ellis said, adding: “The use of force shocks the conscience,” referring to several court-reported beatdowns and chemical weapon attacks.11
Referring directly to Bovino, Ellis said:
“In one of the videos, Bovino obviously attacks and tackles the declarant, Mr. Blackburn, to the ground. But Mr. Bovino, despite watching this video (in his deposition) says that he never used force.”
Federal Magistrate will visit the Broadview ICE center
As part of a class action suit brought by Allied immigration lawyers regarding the harsh conditions at the Broadview ICE facility, a federal magistrate said today (Friday, November 7) that she will visit the facility to check if ICE has complied with previous court orders to improve conditions.
U.S. District Judge Robert Gettleman had previously issued a temporary restraining order that instructed ICE to improve conditions.12
Per the Chicago Tribune:
“It has really become a prison,” Gettleman said on Tuesday. “The conditions would be found unconstitutional even in the context of prisons holding convicted felons, but these are not convicted felons. These are civil detainees.”
In a joint status report regarding compliance with the temporary restraining order, government attorneys said officials have ordered bedding and mattresses for the Broadview facility while searching for a food vendor to provide three proper meals per day. Detainees had testified that they were only supplied with three small Subway ham sandwiches each day.
Wait. There’s been no bedding all this time? No food vendor? WTF?
Pablo Moreno Gonzales a Chicago resident for 35 years, was one of those testifying about conditions. According to Block Club Chicago:13
Gonzales said he was stuffed into a cell with around 150 other men, forcing him to sleep sitting up for only minutes at a time “because I could fall on top of the fellow in front of me.”
Detainees were given a 10-ounce bottle of water three times a day, small sandwiches and never a hot meal, Gonzales said. A Venezuelan man, Samuel Ochoa, said he was fed only “a piece of bread with lettuce and ham” three times while being held at the facility. Both men said the lights were always on, requests for more drinking water were ignored and many people slept on cold floors.
The cells included a toilet, with some of the crowded men only inches away from it, Gonzales said in tears.
An attorney for the Axis power now in control of Washington, D.C., Jana Brady, admitted that these were, indeed, accurate descriptions within the facility.
Cook County sheriff’s officers arrest 14 women outside the Broadview ICE center
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson has maintained an uneasy truce with the Chicago Police Department, which has kept a low profile for the most part during the attack on Chicago. But there’s not much he can do about the Cook County Sheriff’s office, which arrested 14 women for the crime of sitting in a circle and protesting peacefully outside of the Broadview ICE facility, the scene of numerous protests.14 Initial reports indicate that there were Portland-style inflatable dinosaurs involved in the women’s protests.
There’s no word yet on whether the Cook County Sheriff has been bribed or threatened by the Trump regime, if this is a sign of more trouble to come from the Sheriff’s Department, or, worse, has joined the enemy camp of its own volition in a war against its own citizens.
ICE terrorizes children while abducting a daycare worker with a valid work permit
ICE stormtroopers abducted Diana Santillana Galeano in a violent kidnapping that went viral in this video:15
That’s right, folks, Trump’s stormtroopers are now attacking day care facilities, and doing it with the specific intent of terrorizing children.
The Chicago Sun-Times describes how it went down:16
Children were inside the day care center when armed agents went in without a warrant, looked through rooms and questioned staff for documentation despite being asked to leave.
The warrantless arrest (aka, abduction) triggered a formal complaint from immigration attorneys, who pointed to a 2022 consent decree allowing her to live in peace in Chicago until 2029.17
According to Block Club Chicago:
Attorneys with the firm Hughes Socol Piers Resnick & Dym., Ltd. filed a habeas corpus petition with the U.S. District Court in Chicago on Thursday, seeking Diana Patricia Santillana Galeano’s immediate release or a bond hearing.
She filed an application for asylum or “withholding of removal,” and was granted employment authorization through 2029.
Note to MAGA: It’s 2025, shitheads.
Stormtroopers followed her from her home on her way to work, but instead of pulling her over somewhere, they decided it would be fun to terrorize small children, too, so they waited for Galeano to walk inside the Rayito de Sol Day Care facility, a preschool in Chicago’s North Center.
Conflicting reports exist here — some say she was chased out of her car, so she ran to the building. Others claim the goons waited until she went inside. The various conflicting reports to me, though, indicate the latter.
There, they roughed her up amid the screams of preschoolers who had no idea what was happening to their beloved teacher.
This report from the Chicago Tribune adds even more context to the regime’s depravity:
At a news conference Thursday, Maria Guzman, a parent of a child at Rayito, said: “It’s something that is out of a terror movie. I could not sleep last night thinking about the safety of my children. This is deeply, deeply personal.”18
After word spread about Galeano’s abduction and the shock and grief it caused children and coworkers, Kristi Noem’s propaganda unit went to work, using taxpayer money to post a page that lied about the daycare worker’s status with this incredible headline:19
DHS Sets the Record Straight on Illegal Aliens’ Attempt to Evade Arrests by Recklessly Attempting to Barricade Themselves in a Chicago Daycare
Girl, who the hell wouldn’t try to barricade themselves if your violent, poorly trained goons, who surely had one foot in the door of the American penal system themselves before you recruited them, kidnapped them in front of children?
Minor note: The video doesn’t indicate any such barricade. It only reveals goons manhandling a defenseless woman in front of toddlers.
The propaganda unit then went on to blame Biden (yes, for realz):
The Biden administration released her into the U.S.
Fuck’s sake.
So, she was here legally. Not even the Noem propaganda unit was able to refute that. Since their premise for the kidnapping was a clear fail, they decided to go the human trafficking route, claiming that trying to get her children into the country was human trafficking:
Just last month, Galeano reportedly paid for smugglers to illegally bring her 17-year-old and 16-year-old children into U.S. via the southern border. Facilitating human smuggling is a crime.
And these goons wonder why they got clobbered in Tuesday’s election.
Maybe we need a headline like, “Propaganda continues despite government shutdown.”
Hundreds of Galeano’s neighbors rallied in North Center: “We Are Filled With Rage,” one of them, Tara Goodarzi, who has a child at the school, said. “Diana was targeted — stolen — on her way to care for our children by armed intruders from a private business without a warrant.”
The gathered neighbors demanded that ICE stay out of schools.
According to Block Club Chicago:20
Alderman Matt Martin’s 47th Ward office coordinated with North Side community groups, including One Northside and Protect Rogers Park, to stage a rally Wednesday night against immigration agents targeting educators. People filled the Northcenter Town Square, 4100 N. Damen Ave., while holding anti-ICE signs and chanting, “No hate, no fear. Everyone is welcome here.”
Keep in mind that the new budget bill passed by Congress increases ICE and other immigration abduction agency budgets substantially.
They’ll be in your neighborhood soon, too. Are you ready?
Southwest Side Business on the regime’s occupation: “This Is Worse Than COVID”
Small businesses getting hammered by the attacks are still finding ways to get groceries and other supplies to area residents afraid to go outside, according to this Block Club Chicago report:21
“To be honest, it’s worse than the pandemic,” said Jonathan Macedo, owner of Peke’s Pozole in Archer Heights and Café Carranza in Pilsen.
“It seems like people are not spending money,” said Adrian Zamudio, owner of Angelo’s Stuffed Pizza in Archer Heights. While the pizza shop has always offered delivery, sales have dropped significantly, he said.
The dire economic situation mimics what people saw during the pandemic, when business was significantly lower and there was a climate of uncertainty, business owners said. But this time, financial aid or government assistance has not been provided.
“I’m tired,” Zamudio said. “It seems like I gotta keep coming up with ideas just for the business to survive.”
The Bulwark’s Adrian Carrasquillo reports that “ICE Has Created a ‘Ghost Town’ in the Heart of Chicago”
In related news, The Bulwark’s
visited Chicago’s Little Village, where he reported eating the best gordita he’s ever tasted before he described a place torn asunder by the most recent attacks on the neighborhood.22(No surprise on the gordita, although he should check out the Pilsen neighborhood, too.)
The regime is destroying American commerce. Carrasquillo describes a ghost town that once teemed with merchants and their customers:
As I pulled into Little Village for dinner with some local Chicagoans, we experienced no traffic and had our pick of parking spots. “Traffic used to be bumper to bumper for decades and start blocks away, I’ve never experienced it like this,” Chicago food writer Ximena N. Beltran Quan Kiu told me. In a TikTok about the neighborhood, she noted that Little Village is the second-largest shopping district in the city after Michigan Avenue, which is home of the “Magnificent Mile” of luxury stores.
Kristi Noem and her band of stormtroopers are trying to destroy America’s Latino community.
ICE Stormtroopers to Chicagoans: “Wash your clothes at your own risk.”
ICE stormtroopers have chased and abducted random people out of at least four laundromats in the past several weeks, according to Block Club Chicago. It may sound comical, but the businesses affected aren’t laughing, and neither are terrified employees or patrons.23
Federal officials at one time, and let’s face it, this seems like a long time ago, claimed they’d only target “The worst of the worst,” like, I guess, daycare workers.
Targeted neighborhoods have included Rogers Park, Humboldt Park, Little Village, and Back of the Yards.
Owners and employees have reported significant drops in sales, as also reported by Bulwark’s Carrasquillo.
Many of the world’s greatest scientists and researchers are leaving the United States
Our next news item for the week takes us out of Chicago all the way to China, so we can follow Trump’s brain drain.
At the head of the line are Chinese nationals who are simultaneously disgusted by the regime and encouraged by the advances made in their home country. So they’re leaving in droves.
From South China Morning Post (SCMP):24
Intel chip architect Su Fei returns to China after 20 years in the US
The award-winning engineer with a reputation for mentorship has taken up an endowed chair professorship at Tsinghua University.
Mathematician Liu Jun
Strangely, the SCMP story reports two things: One, that Liu Jun said his decision had “nothing to do with Trump.” And two, that part of his exit was related to Trump research cuts. A smart guy, missing an obvious connection, methinks.
Applied mathematics expert Zhongwei Shen returns to China after 40 years in the U.S.
Shen leaves the University of Kentucky for Westlake University in Hangzhou, China. He’s a member of the American Mathematical Society Fellows. It’s fair to say he would have left anyway. He had always yearned to return home. The rapid development of university curricula in China, and Westlake in particular, helped accelerate the timeline. So did, I’m willing to bet, the current immigration situation in America.
Australian-American Mathematician Terence Tao is also considering his options
Tao is a Fields medalist and a professor of mathematics at the University of California. He says that the regime’s harsh cuts to universities have “left the situation more fluid and unstable” than any in the last 30 years.
An industrial software designer who helped develop the Boeing 787 and Airbus A380 is outta here.
Zhou Ming is leaving the U.S. for Eastern Institute of Technology as dean of its engineering college, a new university in China (one of many in the expanding Chinese higher education universe).
In the wake of cancer funding cuts by the Trump regime, Cancer scientist Feng Gensheng heads for China
Feng specialized in liver cancer and immunotherapy and will head for Shenzhen Bay Laboratory after 40 years in the West.
Award-winning HIV researcher Shan Liang leaves the US for a Chinese research institute in Shenzhen
I talked about Shan and others already, here, back in September:
The exodus continues.
Two ICE stormtroopers named by the Chicago Tribune
Guillermo J. Diaz-Torres, from Albuquerque, New Mexico, was one of them. How did the Tribune find out his name? He was busted for drunk driving in Oak Brook, Illinois, when he crashed into a row of hedges and rolled his vehicle onto a curb.
I don’t like the concept of profiling, so I’ll let you draw your own conclusions about his surname, but I would like to hope that if my fellow Jacobins were being harassed and abducted on the streets, I wouldn’t join in on the fun.
The other agent named by the Tribune was Joel Canedo, Diaz-Torres’ supervisor, who retrieved the hungover ICE stormtrooper from his cell the next morning.
The Tribune is the first newspaper I know of that has exposed the names of ICE agents.
Private prison company CoreCivic CEO brags about his role in new concentration camps during earnings call
Per Seeking Alpha:25
CEO Damon T. Hininger announced substantial progress on contracting several idle facilities, stating, “Since our last earnings call, we announced new awards at the 600-bed West Tennessee Detention Facility, the 2,560-bed California City Immigration Processing Center, the 1,033-bed Midwest Regional Reception Center and the 2,160-bed Diamondback Correctional Facility. In aggregate, these 4 new contract awards are expected to generate annual revenue of approximately $320 million once we reach stabilized occupancy.”
Hininger added that these new awards set up CoreCivic for a stronger 2026, noting expectations of “annual run rate revenue to be approximately $2.5 billion and annual run rate EBITDA to increase by $100 million to over $450 million.”
President & COO Patrick Swindle highlighted that federal partners comprised 55% of total revenue in Q3, with ICE revenue up $76.2 million or 54.6%…
…Management reiterated its confidence in reaching a $2.5 billion revenue run rate and over $450 million in EBITDA once new facilities are fully ramped, despite near-term margin pressures from start-up costs.
They’re making a killing. But if you buy stocks based on this report, you’re evil.
Serial Killer Death Toll in Caribbean now at 70
Trump and his fellow serial killer, Pete Hegseth, killed their 70th victims yesterday in the Caribbean, again under a bogus drug-running claim.26 The regime has now admitted to destroying 18 vessels, most of them simple motorboats that couldn’t run drugs across Lake Okeechobee, much less the 1500 mile trek from the Venezuelan coast to Key West.
Lately, amid criticism that such a trek is absurd, the regime has changed course to claiming that the vessels are making intermediate coastal runs, even though Venezuela has never been a significant player in the drug trade.
The regime has sent six navy ships to the Caribbean to assist the regime in killing more people. The USS Gerald R Ford carrier strike group is also on its way, stoking fears that the regime would like to take a run at Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro.
Only someone like Trump could find a way to draw sympathy for someone like Maduro. What a world.
Meanwhile, Trump doesn’t really care, do you?

for this one:I’ll leave you with some levity and this possibly satirical IMDB entry for the upcoming movie, “The Sandwich Purge:” (Don’t bother trying to play the “video.” It’s just a fake graphic.)

Unfortunately, Ruminato Film Critic Wesley Williams Jennings Bryan Hutchinson XIV is not available to review this movie. He is on ICE after banging his head against the wall after watching Trump’s latest attempt at a speech.
Thanks for reading!

Invariably, with these ICE posts, I lose a subscriber or two. I don’t know if it’s because they don’t want to look at the brutality we are all up against in the eye, or if they actively support what the regime is doing. Either way, I don’t consider it a loss. This is an all-hands-on-deck situation, anyway, but those who have even a modicum of support for what the regime is doing will not appreciate most of the work I’m doing or my writing. Joyce Vance says we are all in this together, but sadly, we really aren’t. There are those among us who still prefer to cover their eyes or buy into the anti-immigration tropes conceived by the right-wing that trickles down into mainstream thinking.

2 days ago ICE/CBP or whomever the masked men were came to my little city. Up north here it is still dark at 7 am.
ICE was attempting to tear an infant out of her father’s arms and he began to have a seizure while the wife screamed over and over “Stop he is having a seizure “
they did not stop.
I am in Central Massachusetts , not Chicago or DC . This is happening everywhere folks and it is the ugliest thing any President has ever done to Americans.
