I read somewhere that a group landed in Haiti and were each given a bottle of water and $65. It made me sick. You said in an earlier comment it’s quite possible America is desperately ill. And I believe that’s true. How do I live in such a selfish, hateful , uncaring society? My anxiety has been increasing.
I am often reminded these days of that scene in Lord of the Rings where Theoden says, “What can men do against such reckless hate?” (I don’t think Theoden knew a lot about the wrath of our awesome female voters)
