Good thing I like puns. I learned that most weather services get data from the NOAA/NWS. But Accuweather, like others, uses other services in addition. You know a lot more about this than I do. I pretty much just use Weather Underground (Weather Channel) and call it a day. If I lived in a place like Florida, I’d worry more about the weather. But I live in Atlanta, so the question is usually a summertime one: How friggin hot and humid will it be today? And WU gets it pretty much right, so I’m good with that. Thanks for the comment. Puns are good.

I live in Southern California, we only have two seasons: wildfire season, which lasts ten months, and mudslide season that spans the other two. It’s mostly a question of how hot is it going to be today? Similar to the settings on your toaster, the choice is burnt (90’s) and cremated (100+). Accruweather tells me it’s going to be high 70’s to low 80’s with fog until noon. It shows my location within one or two houses away, but gives me coastal weather for 15 miles away. I prefer Weather Channel.
