My dad died from Alzheimer’s, and I recognize the symptoms in the felon. He wanders, he falls asleep when he’s sitting still, no matter what is happening around him. He speaks gibberish, he mixes up people’s names, I could go on.
The thing that really bothers me is that Jake Tapper and others accused Joe Biden of aging poorly, when it’s actually the felon with the dementia, and corporate media ignores it completely.

I went the opposite way. as you. I've long been NPP, but am firmly in the Dem corner until the scourge ends. I see it this way: There is one legitimate political party, and even though it's mostly bought and paid for by corporate interests, it's all we've got, and I see people like Zohran Mamdani making inroads.
I've been left of Bernie ever since I've been of voting age. The country will never vote like me, even though all I really am is an FDR Democrat. That's how far the pendulum has swung.

But then, I talked to the bartender last night when I stopped for the night and she admitted she won’t read or listen to any of it. Her anxiety is really bad, she said. I wanted to say, oh honey, if you think it’s bad now, just hang on.
Americans need to pay at least SOME attention to what’s happening. We’re just not angry enough yet.

Those kinds of people are hard for me to deal with. They don't understand that they are contributing to this mess when they put their head in the sand.
I wish I HAD a secret hideaway....maybe it is Missouri. I mean, who in their right mind would want to live there in its current condition!? I actually am on the last leg of my trip back home. 🙄
I understand people who work, have kids, etc but there is no excuse for not at least being aware of whats happening.
