Jared Kushner’s Plan to Maximize Profit on Gaza’s Killing Fields
Jared Kushner envisions a beautiful tourist zone where Palestinians once roamed

Part of the plan with all authoritarian regimes is to sow so much chaos that even a substantial opposition only has enough resources to react to the most egregious violations of common decency while the regime attacks on other fronts.
That is what happened at Davos, aka the World Economic Forum, where most of the attention was on Mark Carney’s speech, the mad clown’s taco chicken blunders over Greenland, and the possibility that the NATO alliance was about to be euthanized.
While all that was happening, Jared Kushner was presenting his plan for Kushner Shores (my name), his strange vision for Gaza, where he appears to think he can clone the Mexican Riviera on the Gaza killing fields and pretend none of that nasty stuff happened.
I altered the image I’ve added for this post. Kushner Shores is the name I’ve imagined for Kushner. The new name he came up with, “New Rafah,” is almost too gross to repeat, and I don’t know if Trump Tower will be included in the first iteration of his vision. We can guess one will be, though, considering that Trump Towers are popping up all over the world right now:
Kushner claims that the plan includes the construction of 100,000 housing units, 200 educational centers, 75 medical centers, and 180 cultural, religious, and vocational centers.
If such a thing were to be completed somehow, reality dictates that this is how it would look, given the craven people involved:
100,000 A few housing units for the wealthy, 200 educational centers, 75 medical centers, and 180 cultural, religious, and vocational centers, plus hotels and resorts.
Kushner said he wants to rebuild Gaza based on “free market principles” in the wake of Israel killing 70,000+ people while destroying 80 percent of Gaza’s buildings and the vast majority of its infrastructure.1
This includes more than 183,000 damaged buildings, according to the United Nations Satellite Centre (UNOSAT):
Among the damaged structures, UNOSAT identified 123,464 destroyed structures, 17,116 severely damaged structures, 33,857 moderately damaged structures, and 23,836 possibly damaged structures for a total of 198,273 affected structures…
An estimated 320,622 housing units have been damaged.
These are not Hamas propaganda numbers. They’re derived from satellite imagery from the United Nations.
While serious problem-solvers are looking at Palestinian territory with an eye toward helping its people, Kushner is cosplaying his father-in-law (of all people), imagining grand beachfront properties on the land of a broken people.
The situation in Gaza is too stark for cosplayers, who should be shown the door as soon as they walk in, but Davos attendees, of course, ate it up, while the world’s real problem-solvers studied data like this to figure out how the situation for Palestinians can improve:
Kushner is calling for something he refers to as a “coastal tourism” development headed by himself and Trumpreneur Steve Witkoff, who recently promoted Russia’s Ukraine surrender plan:
You probably have heard of one aspect of Kushner’s crazy plan: The even crazier “Board of Peace,” with such peacenik luminaries as Vlad Putin (2 million Russians and Ukrainians killed so far), and Benny Netanyahu (70,000+ Gaza deaths). The Chairman of this bold initiative would be the guy overseeing the violence in Minneapolis, Herr Trumpstein himself.
What a world.
Unsurprisingly, no Gaza residents or Palestinians were invited to the party. This would be somewhat akin to bombing the crap out of Chicago and inviting Texans, Southerners, and mobsters to rebuild it.
This goofy plan might make you think that Kushner has been spending the past year brimming with creativity while he plots the takeover of Gaza by oligarchs.
Nope.
Much of the plan had already been hatched by Netanyahu.2 Here’s a picture of what Netanyahu had in mind, which looks eerily like the picture I invented at the top of the page, minus the Trump logo:
Isn’t it beautiful?
Netanyahu called this the Gaza-Arish-Sderot Free Trade Zone. Kushner Shores sounds better. These clowns should hire me since they love to throw money around at stupid ideas. At least they’ll have cooler names.
Netanyahu’s plan, and presumably Kushner’s, would cover all of the Gaza Strip’s 141 square miles, stretching from El-Arish, a port in Gaza’s south in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, to Sderot, an Israeli city a tad north of Gaza.
Even if you are chums with these fools and think this looks like the investment opportunity of a lifetime, the UN estimates that the cost of rebuilding Gaza will be on a scale not seen since just after World War 2. The lower estimates I’ve seen are between $40 and $50 billion.3 That’s your break-even point. This is where I recommend investing in $Trump crypto coin. It will better serve your hunger for passive income.
Might there also be oil involved, though?
Aha! You got me! Why yes, yes indeed, there is oil involved. The UN estimates that the combined area of Gaza and the West Bank probably contains more than 3.2 billion barrels of oil. That translates to billions of tasty petrodollars.4
So, as part of Netanyahu’s original plan, rail lines from Gaza to Saudi Arabia’s refineries would be developed.
In other words, Kushner, who has the imagination of a dispirited duck, repackaged Netanyahu’s plan and tricked a bunch of rich morons at Davos into thinking it was his idea all along.
As Yessenia Funes reports for Atmos:5
“In the Middle East, you can never talk about conflict without the corresponding associations of oil and gas,” said Atif Kubursi, a retired economics professor at McMaster University who authored that 2019 U.N. report. “This is particularly problematic now that Russia has cut its oil and gas to Europe, and everybody is looking for alternatives.”
The bottom line is that as the ICE attacks continue in America, the rest of the show must go on.
As reported by the Architects Newspaper in 2024:6
In December, Harey Zahav, an Israeli real estate group, released ads for beachfront homes in Gaza. (Later, Harey Zahav said its ads were meant as a “joke.”) Jared Kushner has said that “Gaza’s waterfront could be very valuable” and that he’s interested in developing “waterfront property” while Israel “cleans up” the Gaza Strip. And hedge-fund manager Bill Ackman rolled out his own Gaza plan in April that isn’t far from what Netanyahu currently envisions.

UPDATE
I just saw this Substack show up in “Related Activity.” It looks pretty interesting and includes more info on the “Board of Peace:”

I'm Liking the fact that you wrote this and the effort you put into it. I know you understand that I'm not Liking the topic itself, which profoundly disturbs me.
Kushner has his dirty little fingers in every dirty little cow pie.
