I'd love to change the world. The apathy and disillusionment is gonna be a tough mountain to climb. Not sure what it's going to take to get people to act. I'm frustrated with the Democratic party who, as it's been said, are bringing a ball point pen to a knife fight. After decades of Republican propaganda, the D's need to sharpen their messaging. 🤷🏼‍♀️

But.....MAYBE we do start by blowing up Fox News. 😂

I’m sort of all over the place with my posts because I’m just so blown away by the election count. From what I read from various political substacks, I’m not alone. I see people bouncing back and forth on explanations and ideas for moving forward.

The Democratic Party has lost all agency with me. They had one job to do and they failed. What is the point of supporting them any further? I haven’t done a post on this because I am not sure anyone needs convincing. It’s a ghost as far as political parties go. I just don’t think they realize it yet. Their big tent approach was an abysmal failure.

As for Fox News, I read they have attracted something like 73% of the cable news audience (my numbers may be off but it’s something like that) since the election. How do we counter that? I know for a fact that 73% of the nation are not Trumpers.

I do find myself frustrated and pissed off at the Democratic party. I've written to a dozen or so, expressing my frustration. Maybe if Ben Winkler is chosen to run things, we might see a change. He did a fabulous job in Wisconsin. But in my v few, a strong, consistent, "advertising" program is needed to counteract the lies and propaganda. UGH. I'm trying to keep the faith...I really am.

Someone suggested, I cant remember where, we might be going into a second gilded age. So I'm reading up on that now. It seems we just never learn a thing from our past. There has always been greed and corruption, unnecessary deaths, and way too many rich people. I see myself living off the land in my secluded farm in Missouri, hunkered down and canning vegetables. 🤷🏼‍♀️

But I'll need to stock up on wine.😂

Winker seems pretty good. He’s definitely well respected in the progressive community. Yes, the gilded age. Somewhere Ayn Rand is waking up from her long sleep to celebrate. Enjoy your wine (but not too much, we need your voice!). You’re gonna need it. :-)
