for a long time, we agnostics have been saying that “christianity” or at least organized religion was becoming a problem. for whatever reason, center and left leaning religious figures and laypeople alike just ignored it.
Christianity has been a problem for 2,000 years. It started out very female-friendly (this fact is suppressed by the various organized churches). Its first churches were managed by women, and Mary Magdalene was the person visited first by a risen Christ. Even if you don’t believe in that story, that is actually the legend and the myth as it was written by male scribes, so it if is fiction, that is the fiction as they wrote it.
Subsequent male scribes were unable to suppress this part of the story because it showed up in too many places. So Christianity has spent 2,000 years becoming a patriarchal heresy of its original intent. I’m not aware of any organized churches I’m comfortable in. They’re all rats nests.
It's almost funny how distorted the Christianity has become if you compare it to bible teachings. Especially the occult penetration into the religion has been cultivating. Christianity is no longer nothing more than a false human doctrine.
