We all know about the AI scourge in the publishing industry. Thousands of so-called writers are now using it to flood the cyberlanes with AI garbage. Hundreds of AI-written books every week are getting released on Kindle.
My new science fiction story, Hijacked, is part allegory, part warning. In the end, it’s a love story. But in the beginning, it’s an allegorical question of how far we’re willing to take AI. It’s a long read, so I hope you’ll bookmark it if you don’t have time to read it now. If you like it, I hope you share it, too.
Note: this story first appeared in The Kraken Lore.
Time for a couple of promos
The number of promos for this month is a bit light. I’ve been busy revamping Ruminato and dealing with platform issues, along with a lot of book editing.
But a little is better than nothing, right? Here we go…
The Ark of Mars: Science Fiction and Fantasy Group Promo (ends September 3rd)
Free downloads of a bunch of Science Fiction books. Just click/tap the image or button below.

The mob fails to kill Morris Johnson (Mojo), which is a big mistake for the mob.
Note that I haven’t vetted any of the books in my promos section. They’re all through a cooperative linking program via StoryOrigin.
Thanks for reading. Have a great day.
