The Full List of Government Agencies and Programs Frozen by Trump
Every program and agency affected can be found here. So begins the American death spiral.
Monday night, Trump’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB), which will soon be led by Project 2025 goon (and editor) Russell Vought, issued a two-page memo pausing all federal financial assistance aside from Medicare and Social Security payments. The number of programs affected is staggering. I made a list so you can easily see if you’re affected in some way.
A federal court in the District of Columbia temporarily stayed this order last night (January 28) because it is unconstitutional.
However, the situation is fluid.
Those of us who warned you about Project 2025 are now forced to go beyond “We told you so” and rescue you from yourselves if you voted for Trump.
I’d rather Trump voters alone suffered the consequences of voting for him, to be honest, but sadly, we all suffer, so now we have to fight for them.
Almost every government agency is affected. If the Supreme Court steps in and allows it, everyone who has any interaction with any of the agencies listed in the document I created is in for a world of hurt. Also, Congress will, in effect, be disbanded because its basic purpose will be eliminated (Congress’s main job is to write laws and allocate money — a crazy idea the founders had to avoid the excesses of the British monarchy).
If you want a nice legal summary that is easy to understand, I strongly suggest Jay Kuo at Big Picture:
I created a full list of agencies and their programs being cut by Trump from the original OMB document. I’ll attempt to format them better when I get a chance. You can search for agencies of interest by using your browser’s “find” tool on the desktop. I’m not even sure the document will load on a phone, because it affects every corner of the government. This makes the report a full death spirally 94 minutes long in “reading time.”
To get as far as I did with the formatting, I used the original OMB PDF document, which had a purposefully obfuscated spreadsheet embedded inside and was thus difficult to pull out and extract the data from.
If you think what I’m presenting in the document linked here is bad, you should see the original format, which can be found here (PDF).
The OMB is asking federal agencies to submit funding information by February 7, 2025 to: FFAPlans@omb.eop.gov.
Again, that email is:
I suggest you spread that email around to everyone you know and ask them to flood it with nonsensical stuff every day until February 7.
If you are a programmer who knows how to create mass mailings to one email address or if you’re a Python scripter, I am definitely not urging you to flood that email because that would be very naughty.
Please restack and repost this information everywhere you can. The document is not really a 94 minute read unless you bother reading every line. :-)
The American Crisis is now in full bloom.
Go here for the full list (I didn’t want to clog your email with it, so I made it a separate post):
Thanks for the email addy. Just a word, typing the addy into the address box works, cut and pasting it did not. I'm going to send an email every time I sit at my PC. Fuckers are going to kill 3 people in my family almost immediately with these cuts, I hope others realize the same and start screaming.
Wow. A lot of the valuable programs my former Department of Transportation federal agency led are on that list…
